Książka jest ciekawa, czyta się z przyjemnością no i jak to kryminał bardzo wciąga. Sama historia jest bardzo wzruszająca, co osobiście mi przeszkadza, bo potwornie żal mi było ofiar opisanego nieszczęścia. Nie jest to już klasyczny kryminał w tradycyjnym rozumieniu. Taka zbrodnia jak ta przedstawiona w książke Karin Fossum, może się zdarzyć wszędzie. Poza tym, duży nacisk został połozony na cierpienie jakie wywołała zbrodnia. W zmałym, norweskim miasteczku dochodzi do tajemniczej zbrodni – ktoś morduje Hinduskę. Nie wiadomo skąd egzotyczna kobieta z Indii wzięła się na takim pustkowiu, w dodatku w chłodnej Norwegii. Nie wiadomo do końca do kogo przyjechała i po co. Ktoś widział na łące goniącą się parę ludzi – pewnie to jacyś zakochani się bawią, myśli jedyny świadek zdarzenia. Ciekawy wątek, problematyka – autorka zwraca uwage na specyficzna mentalnośc ludzi mieszkających w małych miejscowościach gdzie wszyscy się znaja i pozornie wszystko o sobie wiedzą. Jednak przywykłam do bardziej tradycyjnych kryminałów gdzie wątek zostaje calkowicie rozwiązany, dlatego niejasność i niedopowiedzenia, które są niezaprzeczalną zaletą tego typu literatury, tutaj mnie troche drażnił. Ale chyba o to chodziło
